FAQs
Where are you located?
My home base is in Älmhult in the Småland area of Sweden. However, I frequently travel to Denmark, and I also do destination sessions all over Europe and the US.
Do I have to be a professional model?
Not at all. Most of the people I photograph are regular people: artists, entrepreneurs, parents, and those simply curious to see themselves differently. My job is to create an environment where you can relax and let go. You don’t have to know what to do; I’ll guide you through it.
How long does a session take?
The session usually lasts around two to three hours. There’s time to settle in, talk, move slowly, and let things unfold naturally. Nothing is rushed. The whole experience is designed to feel calm and unforced.
What’s included in the session fee?
Your session fee covers the full creative process, from consultation to the portrait session itself, and includes five finished images of your choice. Once you’ve seen your portraits, you’re welcome to add more if you wish.
How much can I expect to spend?
The session fee is 7000 SEK. Additional images start at 800 SEK each, and most clients invest between 10,000–17,000 SEK, depending on how many portraits they choose to keep. You can read more about the Portrait Experience HERE.
Where does the photoshoot take place?
You can come to my studio, I can come to your home, or we can choose a location that feels meaningful to you. The place matters less than the atmosphere we create together. The majority of my sessions take place in the South of Sweden or in the Copenhagen area of Denmark. However, I also travel to locations all over Europe and the US for destination sessions.
Can I bring someone with me?
If you’d like to include someone in your portraits: a partner, friend, or family member, absolutely. But if you simply want someone there for moral support, I recommend keeping the space quiet. The session works best when it’s just us.
I’m not photogenic. Will this be a problem?
No. I don’t believe in “photogenic.” My role is to guide, observe, and create a space where you feel seen and comfortable. You don’t have to perform; you just have to show up.
Do you photograph families?
Yes, though in a very documentary way. I come to your home and capture a day as it unfolds, the ordinary, unscripted moments that become the ones you’ll want to keep.
Can I do both personal branding and personal portraits?
Yes. Many of my clients choose to do both. We often begin with professional portraits and then move into something more personal and expressive. It’s a beautiful way to tell both sides of your story.
Do you photograph weddings or events?
No, that’s not part of my current work. My focus is on slower, more intentional portrait experiences.
However, I am open to conversations around micro weddings and elopements. Especially for destination experiences.
Can I buy prints?
Yes, prints and fine art products are available once your portraits are selected. We’ll go through all the options together at your reveal and ordering session.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, flexible payment options are available. Just ask, and we’ll find something that fits comfortably for you.
DO YOU TEACH OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS?
Yes, I occasionally offer workshops around the world, just keep an eye out or sign up for my newsletter, but I also offer private online coaching. If you're interested in private coaching, you can read more about it HERE.
