Pricing and what to expect

A portrait session with me is for you who are looking to get to know yourself better.

Maybe you've hidden yourself for a while.
Maybe you disappeared entirely into an identity serving others, and now it is time for you to reemerge. Time for you to exist in portraits and not just be the one who takes the photos of your family, observing from the outside without having actual proof that you were indeed there.

You have always avoided doing things for yourself, not feeling deserving of such attention. But you've also realised that this stage in your life is one of transformation and growth.
You WANT to be seen, even though it feels scary, vulnerable and at times, downright selfish.

A photosession with me is permission to act on that want. Together we go hunting for who you are becoming or just for who needs to be rediscovered. I will be your guide, and together we will create the portraits you want, as well as the ones you didn't know you needed.

Yes, fair warning: someone giving you permission to actually be and act like yourself in portraits can be quite addictive.
The camera is a marvellous tool to go on an exploration into your identity, especially if your photographer knows how to hold that space for you, to make you feel safe, seen, and held in your vulnerability and to allow you to take the time you need to fully settle into yourself.

Let's face it. Being photographed is an act of vulnerability, but it doesn't have to be one of uncomfortable, fragile exposure.

But when done right, you get to exist in all of your glorious, beautiful facets without feeling like you have to be someone you're inherently not.
To exist as you are, fully and unapologetically.

The Photography Process
from start to finish

(Roughly 15 min)
We begin with a conversation about what draws you in and how you want to feel in your portraits. Together, we create something that feels honest and true to you, whether it unfolds in my studio, your home, or somewhere meaningful.

1. DISCOVERY CALL

2. Consultation

(30-60min)
We sit down together, either in person or over Zoom, for your Consultation and talk about how you want your day to unfold and how specifically you want to be photographed. We plan out what to wear, location, mood and everything in between. Here we also address any insecurities you might have about your portrait session.

On the day of your session, we gather all the threads of our preparations together.
I do not limit the amount of time we spend on the day of your session. There’s time to talk, move, pause, and breathe. It’s not about posing or perfection, but about presence and connection.

3. Portrait session

(60-90min)
You'll see your portraits for the first time at your Reveal and Ordering Appointment, either in person or over video.
You’ll choose which ones you wish to keep. This is also where you decide whether you want to upgrade to a printed collection.
I then hand-edit the images you select, carefully finishing each one to reflect the mood and depth of what we created together.
